Addressing Mail to Penn
The United States Postal Service (USPS) has specific requirements governing mail addressing. USPS has introduced new bottom up address scanning, where the SECOND line from the bottom of the address is scanned for the exact location. All University incoming mail must conform to the current USPS addressing standards. Below are examples of proper automation compatible addresses. To expedite mail delivery on campus, the zip+4 code must be used.
